Grown Up Bedtime Stories
A one-woman show featuring horror stories Cassidy wrote from the ages of 17-21 presented in their original text alongside a sprawling and tainted family history interwoven with laughter, magic and dog toys.
TL;DR, Goosebumps meets What The Constitution Means to Me meets Sofia Isella.
The un-edited stories she turned into an immersive haunted house with a NYCAC grant in 2021.
In November of 2024 she adapted the stories into a full length one woman show.
20 minute excerpt selected and presented at the Flynn for SNAP fest in Burlington, Vermont in January 2025.
Full script selected as a finalist for the Terrance McNally Incubator in April 2025
Future: Editing and workshopping the script (somewhere, ideally fall 2025) prior to a world premier, which will be presented still as a one woman show but with additional devised multi-media and immersive elements including illustrations of the stories.
